We offer dermal fillers here at Hatfield Dental Care to help bring back a natural looking firmness and plumpness to the face.

What do dermal fillers do?

Dermal fillers are designed to fill in lines and wrinkles and to help promote the skin’s elasticity.

How are they administered?

Dermal fillers are administered via an injection directly to the chosen area. We can apply a numbing agent to the area being injected, which means you won’t feel anything. The whole process should only take up to 30 minutes.

Where can they be administered?

Dermal fillers are usually applied to any area of the face and lips.

What are dermal fillers actually made of?

Dermal fillers contain a substance called hyaluronic acid. This is a naturally occurring substance that helps the skin retain water. Unfortunately, the body’s natural production of it decreases with age. It’s also a common ingredient in a variety of skincare products such as serums and moisturisers.

How long do dermal fillers last?

You can expect the results of your dermal fillers to last for between six and 18 months.

I have recently been for my one year review on my dental implants that I had done at Hatfield dental care, I had two front dental implants, after shopping around I trusted this dental surgery & felt Asfar did not try to force other treatments on me that I did not need like other dentists did, I am so happy with them they look and feel like my real teeth and thats all I ever wanted after my accident causing loss of my front teeth, my implant surgery was no quick fix it started from my bone grafting to the final crown over many months all pain free and any questions or worries was dealt with asap which I appreciate, best money I have ever spent!
