Here at Hatfield Dental Care we offer single tooth dental implants to replace missing teeth.

What is a single tooth dental implant?

Single tooth dental implants offer a permanent solution to a missing tooth. Implants are often used to support a crown or denture and essentially perform the function of the root of the tooth.

What are they made of?

Single tooth dental implants are screws made of the extremely durable material titanium.

What is the process of getting a single tooth dental implant?

We will be with you every step of the way, starting with a consultation. At this point, we’ll perform an X-ray to make sure the rest of the mouth and jaw is in the right condition to undertake the treatment.

Once your suitability has been established, you will come in for the treatment, which usually happens over two separate appointments. The first is to fit the implant itself into the jawbone – for which you will probably be put under local anaesthetic. We’ll then fit the new tooth onto the implant at the second appointment

Are single tooth dental implants noticeable?

When performed correctly, a single tooth dental implant shouldn’t be detectable by anyone else other than the patient and will in fact look and perform exactly as a natural tooth.

I have recently been for my one year review on my dental implants that I had done at Hatfield dental care, I had two front dental implants, after shopping around I trusted this dental surgery & felt Asfar did not try to force other treatments on me that I did not need like other dentists did, I am so happy with them they look and feel like my real teeth and thats all I ever wanted after my accident causing loss of my front teeth, my implant surgery was no quick fix it started from my bone grafting to the final crown over many months all pain free and any questions or worries was dealt with asap which I appreciate, best money I have ever spent!
